“Change is inevitable,” one of
the new brothers said. And many of us will concur with that. In life there are
many changes. As we discern together, the decisions we make individually thus
difference incur in our lives.
On the Sunday 13th
2017, we, the Lavigerie formation House–Jinja, welcomed the 15 new members, that is after
including the new Formator. Currently being 35 members in the community
following the call which each one of us is believed to have heard and responded to
it.

In line with tradition, we had a
welcoming barbecue on that evening. The joyful faces were all over the
Lavigerie community – Jinja in the event. With open heart, we welcomed them to
the house and make them feel comfortable. After sharing a meal, we socialized a
bit, knowing each other in depth. It is nice to know some commonalities between
us all, that is, almost all of us are football fans. This extends to the fact
that some play the game not only as the ‘Other Eleven’ but also as the ‘Real
Eleven’. “I am a dangerous number 2,” one said in his introduction.

All in all, it is great to have
new brothers and we welcome them as we journey together.
