2017 WOMENS' DAY

A child was asked to write an essay of 200 words describing THE WOMAN in his life. Though he took one minute before raised his hand to say he has finished, what he wrote inspired me a lot. “In the combination of the 26 alphabets, there is none which can even try to explain my MOTHER.”

I believe both for you and me there is that woman (women) we cherish every day and treasure so much. Like the child, we value the feminine gender God gave to the universe. ‘She’ can be our: mothers as they are the ones who brought  us into this world after carrying you for nine months tirelessly, and being there in all times. Sisters, who accompany us all along our pilgrimage on this earth and they have been and still are our inspiration in life. Some have wives and lovers who bring joy in their life each day. Some of us are privileged to have their Grandmothers, who play(ed) an important role either directly or indirectly in our lives. Aunts, girlfriends, and name them all who we value and love in this world.

Acknowledging our direct or indirect dependency of the women, we, Lavigerie fraternity, joined the whole world in celebrating this day attributed to all women in the earth.

GOD BLESS THE WOMEN!
GOD BLESS THEIR WORK!
