OUR SOCIO-CULTURAL DAY. A PLACE OF HUMOR

Different performances during our Socio-Cultural evening
Urbanus during the Socio-Cultural evening

Lavigerie house is composed of people with different talents and skills. Some of this talents create humour and help us to relax or ‘self-care’ as majority will call it. Every month we get an opportunity to come together as a community not for any other business but for relaxing together through a socio-cultural evening. On this day we normally present our community in a dramatic manner and at times employing literature skills. The event helps some of us to ease from any kind of tension either internal or external and in a special way promote our talents. It is a good way of promoting community life as one of the key pillars of our formation as well as discovering the hidden beauty laying behind ‘comedy industries’. Socio-cultural evening is a platform of appreciating other people’s cultural heritages.

This experience makes many of us feel at home and appreciated regardless of our culture. Though it is a short session it leaves majority of us with humour and enthusiasm to keep going.

Thanks be to Lavigerie community for upholding this event and making Lavigerie house “a place to be.”
