BE HAPPY!

We are always invited to cherish the life we are granted each and every day. Many believe that we are all aiming at a happy and fulfilled life. Nevertheless, it is not always smooth, as it is comprised of different times of life. Different moods and feelings act as catalyst in the relations and the whole life at large. The catalyzed effects facilitate the discovery of different potentials that each and every person has. Have these potentials facilitated growth in any way? Have the positive effects changed anything in one’s life? Do they bring and support constant joy which results to happiness? In Lavigerie house-Jinja, we, as a family, strive to be in a position to move together towards this heavenly state. Putting into consideration different activities like sports in Lavigerie House-Jinja, which has really brought joy to us. “We don’t need unity in theory, we need solidarity in practice” Curious George Brigade, anarchy in the age of Dinosaurs Solidarity can be defined as a bond/unity between or among persons bonded by the same unifying principles. In the lay man’s linguistic tenable, we can refer to it as being fully and lively present to the other. We live our solidarity in a meaningful way by keenly being attentive to the needs of others; CHARITY.  I n Lavigerie House I have observed that we actually manifest solidarity in two dimensions; first in the interior; within our family which begins from the team since we live in teams. Secondly, in the exterior; where we extend to people outside our community, that is, the consortium (Philosophy Centre Jinja), our pastoral places and the rest of the communities around us.
